Comparing indonesia and japan education system
Hey guys, welcome to my blog. This time i'd like to compare beetween Indonesia school system and Japan education system.
In Japanese school there's no religion subject since Japan is not a religious country, so the student have to find another source other than school to get religion subject. Unlike Japan, Indonesia is a religious country, so of course religion subject is important to Indonesian student.
In Japan primary school, there's also no national examination or UN and also no class promotion test. While in Indonesia, has always held a class promotion test for students who will go up to grade two and so on.There is also a national examination for students who want to graduate from basic education and secondary education. So for the Japanese students who have completed the learning process in the classroom, they will automatically be upgraded to grade 2 and so on. And the students who have finished their studies at the primary level can apply directly to the Junior High School without doing any national test or examination, like Indonesia school did.
And for the school entrance system, all student in Japan have to going through a test first. While in Indonesia, the private school are using the same system as Japan did. For the public school, they use the student's national exam score. Which is not a good thing i think. Because there's many Indonesian student who cheat during national exam. But, the national exam in Indonesia are computer based now, which is good because it's more difficult to cheat with computer based exam rather than paper based exam.
I hope that Indonesia can apply Japan education system, because Japanese student are proven to be one of the best in the world.
